Managing Director at Macquarie Asset Management
Liam is a Managing Director for the Diversified Utilities Team at Macquarie Asset Management (MAM). He has been involved in the divestment of Thames Water, the acquisitions of Cadent Gas, Elenia Oy, Viesgo, E-Redes, Reden Solar, National Gas, and Last Mile Infrastructure, as well as the strategic review of Macquarie Infrastructure Corporation (MIC). His asset management roles include Thames Water, Cadent, and National Gas.
He joined MAM’s Sydney office in 2012 and worked on the unlisted Global Infrastructure Funds and Macquarie Special Situations Fund. He transferred to the London office in 2014. Liam has considerable investment experience from his twelve years within MAM.
He has a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce majoring in finance and economics from Bond University.

Non-Executive Director
Sofia is a professional board member with a number of NED roles across infrastructure and tech businesses.
Sofia has extensive experience with technology, infrastructure and B2B sales and operations. Previously, she was a Managing Director at Google, leading the platforms and partnerships business in Northern Europe. Sofia also served as Global Director of Operations for Google’s Partnerships business based in New York. She spent all together 13 years at Google. Prior to that, she was a Partner at Copenhagen Consulting Company, a Nordic management consultancy that is now part of Bain.
Sofia sits on the Boards of Norwegian Air, Stena Line, Zegona/Vodafone Spain, Ziton (offshore wind), Parken Sport and Entertainment, and is the Chair of Norstat, a pan-European market research provider.
Sofia has an MBA from Insead and she holds a BA in Journalism from University of Oregon. She is Swedish and resides in Copenhagen.

Member of the Infracapital Investment Committee
Mark joined Infracapital when it was founded in 2005 and now leads the Brownfield infrastructure investment activities. Mark has over 25 years’ experience across infrastructure investment including M&A, asset management, financing and derivatives.
Mark is a member of the Infracapital Investment Committee and the Investment & Steering Committee of IMPPP.
Mark was previously in Ernst & Young’s Infrastructure Finance team where he was a financial advisor on infrastructure projects and transactions across sectors including airports, ports, roads, hospitals, prisons and secondary market PFI transactions. Prior to this Mark worked in JP Morgan’s fixed income derivatives team and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte in 1997.
Mark has an honours degree in Mathematics from Warwick University and is authorised to undertake investment activities by M&G under the Certification Regime.

CFO, Last Mile
Lynne is the Chief Financial Officer and has overall responsibility for the financial aspects of the Group including financial reporting, financial planning, budgeting and treasury management.
Lynne joined Last Mile as Financial Controller in May 2017 and has led the finance team through a number of internal restructurings, strategic projects, acquisitions and debt refinancings over this time. Lynne is on the Board of Directors.
A qualified Chartered Accountant, Lynne has over 20 years’ experience in finance, having previously been a Senior Manager at KPMG. She had a number of clients in the construction and housebuilding sector whilst in professional practice.

Managing Director for Macquarie Asset Management
Mark is a Managing Director for Macquarie Asset Management (MAM) and leads workplace health and safety across the Real Assets EMEA portfolio.
Mark has extensive experience in utility infrastructure. Previously, he was CEO at Green Highlands Renewables, and prior to that he spent 26 years at the SSE, including 10 years as a member of the executive team. He was previously a Non-Executive Director at Smart DCC, the company responsible for the central infrastructure of the UK’s smart metering rollout.
Mark sits on the boards of Real Assets utility companies, including Last Mile Infrastructure, Cadent Gas Networks and National Gas Transmission. He is a past Chair of both the Energy Networks Association and EA Technology.
Mark has a Bachelor of Engineering in electrical and electronic engineering from Heriot-Watt University and is a chartered engineer as well as a fellow of the Institute of Engineering and Technology.

Managing Director for Infracapital
Peter is a Managing Director for Infracapital and joined the business in in 2015 with over 10 years of finance experience.
Peter joined Infracapital from RBC Capital Markets’ Utilities & Renewables team where he spent three years focusing on M&A and financing transactions across regulated utilities and midstream oil & gas infrastructure. Peter has also worked at HSBC and KPMG where he qualified as a chartered accountant.
Peter holds a First Class degree in Economics and Accounting from the University of Bristol.

Non-Executive Director
Helen is an experienced Non-Executive Director with a growing portfolio of roles across residential development, housing, infrastructure and strategic advisory. She brings deep expertise in governance, compliance and stakeholder engagement, shaped by a 35-year career in property development and corporate leadership.
As former member of Orbit Group’s Executive Team, Helen oversaw a £400m turnover business with over 46,000 homes and led its £120m development arm, delivering sector-leading performance in quality, compliance and customer satisfaction. Her executive and board-level roles have spanned both private and regulated sectors, including leadership at City & Country Group, Countryside and Crest Nicholson. Her career is defined by building strong brands, delivering transformational growth and operational resilience, while championing ethical leadership.
Helen currently serves on the Boards of Verda Living RP and the Home Builders Federation and provides strategic advisory services through her consultancy Moore About Homes. She holds a BA (Hons) in Business Studies.

CEO, Last Mile
Richard joined Last Mile in September 2025 as Chief Executive Officer and has overall responsibility for all aspects of the group.
Richard brings over 20 years’ experience in support services, with a strong focus on utilities and infrastructure. Most recently, Richard was CEO of speciality utility services provider Ipsum, growing the business both organically and through acquisition, and successfully led it on to an investor exit. Richard has also held several senior roles, including CEO of A-Plant (now Sunbelt Rentals UK), where during his tenure the business grew significantly alongside multiple acquisitions and integrations.
Prior to his career in support services, Richard qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte.

Group Investment Director, Last Mile Infrastructure Group
David is responsible for driving strategic investment across the group’s asset base, with a focus on delivering long-term value.
He joined Last Mile in 2018, bringing with him over 15 years of experience in finance. A Chartered Account, David qualified with KPMG in 2008 and worked across financial services audit and advisory before spending four years in Sydney, Australia at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia.
David initially joined Last Mile’s Asset Management business before taking up the role of Group Finance Director and later Group Investment Director. With a strong background in finance and leadership, David brings analytical and commercial acumen and plays a key role in shaping the company’s investment strategy and supporting its growth.

Managing Director, Last Mile Asset Management
Michael is the Managing Director for Last Mile Asset Management and has a varied role that covers all aspects of operating and maintaining a diverse range of utility networks. More recently the role has broadened as the business expands further into water, wastewater, and heat networks.
Michael has worked at Last Mile since 2019. He has worked in the utilities industry for over 25 years, in projects that included the Edinburgh Tram project, the Electricity Transmission business of SSE, and overhead lines and cables across the North of Scotland.
During his time at Last Mile, Michael has played a key role in building and improving the asset management capability as growth in electric and gas has been coupled with expansion into new utility sectors.

Executive Director, Last Mile
Rob is an Executive Director for Last Mile’s Own & Manage operating group, overseeing the Commercial, Retail and Customer Services teams for the regulated businesses.
A Chartered Accountant, Rob co-founded Icosa Water in 2016 and has been with Last Mile since the acquisition of Icosa in May 2020. Rob has more than 25 years’ experience in the utility sector, spanning water, gas, electricity, heat and generation in various senior roles at Hyder plc, Inexus, Metropolitan and Brookfield.
Key achievements at Last Mile include: the customised development of Microsoft Dynamics to support significant growth of the water business; developing an industry-wide process to negate bulk water metering; the integration of heat billing; and the ongoing work with the regulator, NAVs and incumbents to improve the cost reflectivity of regulated NAV bulk charge tariffs.

Managing Director, Last Mile Design & Build
Craig joined Last Mile in 2019. Craig has 30 years of experience in construction and development, having held various senior positions within the construction industry prior to this role, including overseas experience in UAE and USA. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree and is a Chartered Surveyor (MRICS).
Since joining Last Mile Craig has managed key projects including digital transformation in our Design & Build teams, review and refresh of commercial controls and leveraging our group buying power to create more efficient and effective supply chain partnerships.

Director of Legal & Governance, Last Mile
Michael joined Last Mile in 2023 as Head of Legal, and in 2024 became Director of Legal & Governance having responsibility for legal, governance and regulatory affairs teams.
Michael is a qualified lawyer with over 20 years of legal and governance experience. Prior to joining Last Mile Michael spent 15 years at Scottish Power as a lawyer within the networks business and most recently as Corporate Legal Director responsible for group legal matters. Before that, Michael worked in private practice for leading UK law firm Shepherd and Wedderburn LLP, advising a range of energy and utility clients.

Executive Director, Last Mile
John has been at Last Mile since 2018, initially as Senior Manager Commercial and Finance and most recently as a Director, having joined with 15+ years of experience in M&A.
John was previously on the Energy & Utilities deal team at PwC and holds an honours degree in Law.
His achievements at Last Mile to date include leading on the acquisitions of UKPS and Icosa Water.

Technology and Data Director, Last Mile
Conal joined Last Mile in 2023 as Data and Digital Director leading on technology strategies, digital transformation and IT operations. With over 30 years of experience in IT leadership roles for companies ranging from start-ups to large corporations, across industries spanning retail, manufacturing, finance and energy, he has successfully delivered projects in software development, systems innovation, ERP implementation, IT security and data infrastructure and governance.
At Last Mile, Conal is focused on strengthening group IT infrastructure and cyber security, while driving initiatives to enhance systems integration and data management capabilities. His strategic approach ensures continuous improvement in the organisation’s digital and operational resilience.

CFO, Last Mile

COO, Last Mile
Kirsty joined Last Mile in 2019 as Chief Operating Officer, responsible for leading the Legal & Governance, People & Culture, and Data & Digital teams, driving operational excellence across the business.
She brings over 15 years’ experience in corporate law and has a strong track record working with private equity-backed businesses, specialising in acquisitions, investments, integrations, and day-to-day operations.
Before joining Last Mile, Kirsty was Associate Director at Clyde Blowers Capital, a global industrial private equity firm, where she played a key role in strategic transactions and portfolio management.
Since joining Last Mile, Kirsty has led several high-profile transactions, including the acquisitions of UKPS and ICOSA, the joint venture partnership with Rendesco, and most recently, the sale of 50% of Last Mile shares from Infracapital Partners to Macquarie Asset Management (MAM).
Kirsty holds an Honours Degree in Law and is a Member of the Law Society of Scotland.

Director of People and Culture, Last Mile
Hannah is the Director of People and Culture for Last Mile, overseeing HR, L&D, Communications and Marketing.
Hannah started as HR Manager for UKPS in late 2018 and moved into a group role from January 2021. Prior to joining UKPS in 2018, she was Group HR Manager for Markey Group, a small group of companies spanning construction and manufacturing.
Key achievements are working on the harmonisation and improvement of terms, conditions and benefits across Last Mile, and digitally transforming the HR systems and processes. Hannah has a post graduate diploma in HR Management and is a Chartered member of CIPD.

Executive Director, Last Mile
Martin is an accomplished finance leader with over 20 years of expertise in financial management, strategic planning, and business growth. A Chartered Management Accountant, he has held senior roles across financial services, asset management, and the multi-utility sector. Martin’s career highlights include serving as Managing Director of Carrick Asset Finance, where he navigated the company through significant challenges while maintaining a reputation for market-leading service. At Macquarie Bank, he was part of the team that successfully expanded a commercial asset portfolio to £250m, and at Lloyds Banking Group, he played a key role in delivering a European Commission-mandated rundown initiative, earning recognition in the bank’s Finance Stars Scheme.
Martin’s experience also includes a prior tenure at Energetics, where he contributed to financial integrity and project financing. Returning to the company as an Executive Director, his focus is now on driving business growth and strategic initiatives. Known for his leadership, financial acumen, and collaborative approach, Martin is passionate about delivering impactful results and fostering sustainable success.
